Lung cancer remains one of the most common and deadliest cancers in Australia, yet patients and carers continue to face significant challenges in accessing the care and support they need.

This webinar will explore the burden of lung cancer, key unmet needs, and the latest initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes. We will delve into the challenges faced by patients and carers, including the emotional, financial, and medical burdens associated with the disease. The session will also cover the importance of supportive care services and how to effectively connect patients with essential resources. A spotlight will be placed on the Lung Cancer Specialist Nurse Telehealth Program, a vital initiative that provides expert care remotely. We will also outline the referral pathways to Lung Foundation Australia to ensure patients receive the right support at the right time.
