Metastatic Ocular Melanoma
Melanoma Nursing Webinar Program
This webinar is tailored for melanoma nurses aiming to deepen their understanding of metastatic ocular melanoma.
This session explores risk factors and metastatic patterns, screening and diagnostics and discuss prognosis and treatment options, including current trials. Nurses will gain insights into patient unique risk factors for metastasis, tailored approaches to surveillance and treatment options. From a lived experience consumer, nurses will learn about the impact of living with ocular melanoma and different treatments, equipping them with the knowledge to offer comprehensive care and patient education as critical members of the multidisciplinary team.
Learning outcomes:
- Identify the clinical and molecular risk factors for metastatic melanoma
- Understand standard surveillance protocols and diagnostics
