Having worked in a diverse range of settings – from regional to high-volume tertiary centres – and being certified to practise Medicine and Oncology in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, Dr De Silva has a unique global perspective. His keen interest in early drug development, liquid biopsies, and HER2 therapy was developed during his prestigious Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, USA.
