National Regional Cancer Forum Series

One Year of Lung Cancer Screening in the Regions

This webinar was held on 18th June 2026. Please see the webinar recording below.

Join experts from across the country as we reflect on the first year of lung cancer screening in regional, rural and remote settings. This session explores early experiences, insights and key learnings from implementation on the ground, and where gaps remain.

Hear updates from NACCHO and Heart of Australia on efforts to ensure priority populations are being reached equitably, with a focus on culturally appropriate and accessible approaches to screening. Finally, hear from regional experts on the ground discuss strengths and challenges to implementation in their local community.

The forum concludes with a panel Q&A, providing an opportunity for shared discussion, identifying opportunities, challenges, and the work still to be done to improve uptake and outcomes across the regions.
