Melanoma and Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Consultant, Alfred Health
Hayley Burridge is the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Consultant at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, bringing extensive expertise in the clinical management of skin cancer. Hayley began her nursing career in oncology after graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing, and has since held diverse surgical and medical roles across New Zealand and the UK. She has further advanced her knowledge by completing several postgraduate oncology courses in both London and Australia. In 2010, Hayley relocated to Melbourne and joined the Haematology/Oncology Day Unit at The Alfred Hospital, initially as a clinic nurse and later contributing to research trials. This experience deepened her specialisation in melanoma and immunotherapy, leading to the development of her current role. As Clinical Nurse Consultant, Hayley plays a pivotal role in patient care, education, immuno-oncology and clinical collaboration, contributing significantly to the evolving field of skin cancer management.
