VCCC Alliance Breast Cancer Educational Series

What you will learn

Presenting your patient at a multidisciplinary meeting (MDM) is standard of care when they are first diagnosed with breast cancer and it is at the MDM where some of the most lively - and sometimes controversial - discussions arise as to what treatment approach to take. This is particularly the case for those complex patients and presentations where the type, extent or order of treatment is not always clear.

Join us for some tricky case presentations put to our expert panel comprising surgical, radiology and oncology know-how from the Austin, RMH, Monash Health, The Women's and Peter Mac.

Aim: To provide an opportunity to learn from the experiences of senior practitioners in the field and review some cases where the pathway may not be as obvious as first thought.

Learning Objective: To explore complex patients and presentations where the type, extent or order of treatment of the breast cancer is not always clear.

The VCCC Alliance Breast Cancer Education Series is targeted at a clinical audience and features open discussion about real cases and patients. While these cases are de-identified, the imagery, content and discussion can be graphic. It is not appropriate for consumer participants.
