The theme for 2023 NAIDOC week is For our Elders. This unique webinar, chaired by Professor Grant McArthur AO, sees a powerful range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals and community members discuss critical topics in the cancer care field. 

Topics covered include:

  • The importance of looking after Elders

  • Types of cancer more prevalent in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and the risk factors, including limited access to healthcare

  • Statistics on cancer in the Indigenous community, and why it is important to address this issue
