Breast Cancer Education Series
The role of exercise for the management of metastatic breast cancer
20 November 2024
Exercise has been proven safe and effective for patients with breast cancer in the curative setting, however evidence in patients with metastatic breast cancer (mBC) has been lacking.
This education session will cover the latest findings relating to role of exercise for the management of metastatic breast cancer, including novel results of the international PREFERABLE - EFFECT Study. The study is the largest exercise study that has been conducted in patients with metastatic breast cancer to date, including 357 patients from five European countries and Australia.
